Whoops! Meant to post these a few days ago and then headed off for a quick business trip to our new office in Chicago. That was pretty fun... except for the rain delay getting back home. But it's all good.
A few more art journal pages from the last week or so:
This was mostly experimentation - lots of layers. The journaling is a stamp from Studio Calico with a quote from Ferris Bueller: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
The second is another play page - using pieces of leftover dried paint that I pulled off of my palette (thanks to one of Donna Downey's Inspiration Wednesday videos for the idea.)
The last is the favorite of my recent pages - I used a quote I saw on Pinterest (from memory, so probably paraphrased) as the journaling. "Flowers have to grow through dirt before they bloom." (I think this will be another canvas at some point... love the flowers and colors!)
That's it for now... next up, I'll share the results of the class I took last weekend and maybe a bit from the Chicago trip :)
Love all of your pages with their rich colors and layers. I especially like the birds in the first one. The dotted outline makes them stand out.
