Today, Jill McDowell is sharing a fabulous project made with sari yarn, Turkmen jewelry parts, and a Kuchi patch with seeds around the border. I was so blown away when I saw this... she used the sari yarn to do some latch-hook work around the patch in the center. This is such a stunning piece... I can only imagine how cool it looks hanging on her wall!
Make sure you stop by Jill's blog for more photos and details about how she made this incredible mixed media wall hanging.
Of course, Jill's project today is part of the Artist Tribe's month-long challenge using Kuchi patches and to go along with all of that inspiration is a sale! For the entire month of October, you can save 15% off of all Kuchi patches in case you want to try any of these techniques at home.
Just use the coupon 15OffKuchiPatches when you check out to get 15% off! (It only includes patches specifically marked Kuchi, and doesn't include other Kuchi textiles or jewelry.)
