Gwen's Gems - Winter Art Journaling

Gwen, I just came back from StencilGirl and have to tell you how much I love this journal page...and How I believe this would be beautiful printed out as Greeting Cards!!hint hint!

I love seeing your process and appreciate your taking the time to share! And, I am of the same camp as you, "more is more" Yes please! LOL
Just love the transparency of the oil pastels and choice of Italian paper is excellent and that Golf leaf- vavoom!! I love it!!

Thanks Jackie! I would actually LOVE to do this as a greeting card, but since there are stencils by other artists on there I can't reprint it for sale :-P I should think of these things ahead of time... lol.

At the Improv with Mary Beth Shaw and Seth Apter Last weekend I was lucky enough to go to Mary Beth Shaw's studio in St. Louis and join eleven other women for a fabulous 2-day workshop with Mary Beth and Seth Apter. From the Artist Tribe - Mixed Media with Buttons and Trims Wow! Today Jill McDowell from The Artist Tribe is sharing an amazing mixed media panel using lots of dimension with buttons plus embellished trims from the shop. Isn't that just stunning? She used several of my stencils, including the Decorative Folk Flower Screen, Decorative Medallion, and the Ornamental Peacock Feathers stencil. She's also used an image from the Irresistible India collage cutouts, and some of the embellished sari trims.
